How to check whether your chosen game is available to you

For Remote Play, check game compatibility with your Xbox model, installation and the right to launch under the required profile. If launch needs a disc, the console still needs it. Your phone receives a stream: the Xbox version does not install on Android as a separate app.

For Xbox Cloud Gaming, find the game in the current cloud catalog under your account. Service, region and game-specific conditions can differ. This selection helps you choose a game and prepare controls; it is not a list of the current cloud catalog.

Before buying a game or subscription, open its cloud listing under your account and check launch terms. How to find a game in XBPlayer and which account to use will help you verify access.

Start with an activity you want to finish

If you want to drive a new route, open racing games. If you want a story, choose an RPG. If you want time to consider a decision, look at turn-based games. There is co-op for an evening together, and individual exercises and races with a clear ending for a short break.

Cards first explain what makes the game interesting, then suggest a sequence to start with. Pace labels help compare the character of the experience, but do not promise a duration: one game can include both relaxed exploration and fast battles.

Without a controller, check common button combinations and interface visibility. You can filter specific titles here; a separate guide explains genre choice, and the short-break selection helps you find a task you can complete.

Minecraft and Stardew Valley: streaming or the Android version?

These games have standalone mobile versions. Streaming from Xbox is useful when you want to continue that specific console world or farm and use the familiar Xbox interface. The mobile version is a separate product with its own purchase, control and progress-transfer terms.

Do not assume saves are interchangeable just because the game has the same name. For Minecraft, check the edition, world-transfer method and online scenario separately; for Stardew Valley, check the platform and available save-management methods. The Minecraft options comparison and Stardew Valley options will help you choose before another purchase.

Before a long session, check how to continue later

Sign in to the right profile and make sure you see the progress you expect. Then finish a short sequence and wait for saving according to the game's own rules. Leaving a stream is not the same as a save command.

In an online match or team game, check when you can leave without losing the result or disrupting other players. To continue on another device, use the Xbox saves guide. If time is limited, the activity selection for a short session will help.

Frequently asked questions

Are all the listed games available in Xbox Cloud Gaming?

This selection is not a record of the cloud catalog’s current lineup. Check your chosen game and access terms in the service under your account. For Remote Play, check installation and launch on your Xbox.

Are these games installed on Android?

This section covers Xbox versions streamed to Android. Some titles, such as Minecraft and Stardew Valley, have separate mobile versions; the corresponding guides cover them.

Can I play these games without a controller?

XBPlayer offers a touch layout. Usability depends on the game: test precise selection, simultaneous inputs and interface visibility. For difficult combinations, try a physical controller.

Does the same game work on Xbox One and Series X|S?

Check the specific edition and console generation. For example, Forza Horizon 6 and Forza Motorsport 2023 install on Xbox Series X|S, while Forza Horizon 5 is also available on Xbox One. For cloud launch, check game availability and access terms separately.
